Pinnacles Sunset, Stargazing, & Wildlife Spotting Tour
Most tours depart Perth between 12pm and 2pm and return around 9:30pm–11pm, depending on the season and tour inclusions.
The Pinnacles Desert is about 190 km north of Perth, roughly a 2-hour drive each way along the scenic Indian Ocean Drive.
Tours usually include return transfers from Perth, a guided walk through the Pinnacles Desert, sunset viewing, stargazing (weather permitting), and either a picnic-style dinner or tavern meal. Some tours also stop at Yanchep National Park.
Pick-ups are available from central meeting points in Perth CBD. If you’re outside this area, you may need to meet at a designated pick-up spot.
Stargazing is weather-dependent. Clear skies are ideal, but if cloud cover occurs, your guide may extend other stops or activities instead.
Yes. The walk around the Pinnacles is generally easy and short, but some uneven sandy paths may require caution. Families are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
No, most sunset tours are fully guided from Perth. Self-drive visitors can book separate entry or day permits through Nambung National Park.
Yes, your guide will point out the best spots and times to photograph the Pinnacles at dusk and under the stars.
Absolutely. Guides often encourage guests to bring their own gear for astrophotography.
Tours are conducted in English, with select operators offering multilingual audio guides.
