No need to cross your fingers, these cruises come with a Dolphin Guarantee. If you don’t spot any dolphins (which is rare), you’ll get a free return trip within 12 months. That’s how confident they are in the local pod that calls Mandurah home.
You’ll cruise through Peel-Harvey Estuary, Mandjar Bay, and the tranquil Kwilena Gabi Pool. Bonus? You’ll also get a rare waterside look at Seba’s Song, a towering timber sculpture from the Giants of Mandurah trail which is half art, half adventure.
Clocking in at around 2 hours, these cruises are designed to give you maximum experience in minimum time. So you can meet dolphins, soak in scenic views, and still be back in time for fish and chips by the marina.
There’s a marine biologist onboard most cruises, narrating what you’re seeing (and sometimes hearing). It's engaging without being too scientific. So yes, you’ll leave knowing a bit more about dolphins.
Some cruises let you peek into the engine room, steer the wheel like the captain, and scan the waters through giant binoculars. Whether you’re seven or seventy, it’s hard not to get a kick out of it.
You’ll get perks like buy-one-get-one churros at San Churros Mandurah, 10% off at the gift shop, and loyalty discounts on future cruises. So yeah, it’s the kind of ticket that keeps on giving even after you’re back on land.

If you’re booking the Scenic View Dolphin Cruise, you’ll usually get four slots to choose from: 10am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3pm. It’s flexible, but always double-check your preferred time before booking.
The Giant & Dolphin Sightseeing Cruise runs a bit longer, so departures are more limited. It’s typically available on Thursdays and Saturdays, starting around 11:30am or noon.
Both tours begin at the Mandurah Cruises Jetty, right in the heart of Mandurah’s waterfront precinct. It’s a scenic and well-connected departure point with cafes, boardwalks, and parking nearby.
If you’re coming from Perth, Mandurah is just about an hour’s drive south via the Kwinana Freeway.
If you prefer public transport then hop on a direct train from Perth Station to Mandurah Station (takes around 50 minutes), then it’s a 10-minute local bus ride or a short taxi/Uber to the jetty.
The Scenic View Cruise is shorter and wheelchair accessible, while the Giant & Dolphin Sightseeing Cruise is longer, includes Seba’s Song, and is led by a marine biologist.
The Scenic View Cruise runs for 1 hr 15 mins, while the Giant & Dolphin Sightseeing Cruise lasts about 2 hrs 15 mins.
Yes! If your tour doesn’t spot any dolphins (as confirmed by the crew), you’ll receive a voucher to rebook within 12 months.
Only the Scenic View Dolphin Cruise is wheelchair and walking frame accessible. The Giant & Dolphin Sightseeing tour is not.
You’re most likely to spot Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins, which live here year-round and often swim right alongside the boat.
Mandurah’s sheltered estuaries and healthy seagrass beds make it a natural playground for dolphins and a top spot for marine wildlife in WA.
Morning or early afternoon tours are best. The light is good, the water’s calm, and dolphins tend to be more active.
Rare bird species like ospreys and black swans, the peaceful Peel-Harvey Estuary, and local landmarks like Kwilena Gabi Pool are all part of the ride.
